If any section, paragraph, clause, sentence or provision of this Title shall be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair, invalidate or nullify the remainder of this Title, but the effect thereof shall be confined to the section, paragraph, clause, sentence or provision immediately involved in the controversy in which judgment or decree shall be rendered.

A.

Any person violating the provisions of this Title shall be punished according to the provisions of Chapter 1.08 of the Buffalo Grove Municipal Code.

B.

The owner or occupant of any building, structure, or part thereof, and any architect, builder, contractor, agent or other person who commits, participates in, assists in, or maintains such violation may each be found guilty of a separate offense and suffer the penalties herein provided.

C.

Nothing herein contained shall be construed to prevent the Village from taking such other lawful action as is necessary or appropriate to prevent or remedy any violation.

All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Comprehensive Amendment are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed and shall have no future application. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any violations of such repealed ordinances or parts of ordinances which occurred prior to the effective date of this Comprehensive Amendment may be prosecuted in the manner permitted by law.

This Comprehensive Amendment shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and due publication in pamphlet form.
