CHAPTER 17

48.- SIGNS

17.48.010.- Distance from street.

Signs permitted in the district shall be erected and maintained at least 15 feet from the street line or road.

17.48.020. - Name plates.

One name plate or sign is permitted, indirectly illuminated or not illuminated, less than three square feet in area for each dwelling.

17.48.030. - Temporary sign; sale, rent and lease.

One temporary sign is permitted, not illuminated, less than six square feet in area advertising the sale, lease or rental of the property.

17.48.040. - Temporary sign; subdivision or tract of land.

One temporary sign per tract of land or subdivision in the tract, and not exceeding 49 square feet in area. The sign shall be reduced in size by six square feet for each lot less than eight in the subdivision.

17.48.050. - Business establishment.

Signs identifying a business establishment or business use are permitted, provided that not more than 400 square feet of a sign area shall be permitted for each 400 feet of street or highway frontage. In no case shall business signs be permitted within 50 feet of a residential district, a public park or a school.
