- RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS
A)
R-1, Low-Density Residential District. The Low-Density Residential District is designed to provide for an environment of one-family to two-family dwellings, along with other traditional neighborhood uses that serve the residents in the district (such as schools, parks, and religious institutions).
B)
R-2, Medium-Density Residential District. The Medium-Density Residential District is designed to provide an environment of intermediate density with two-family to twelve-family dwellings, along with other uses that serve the residents in the district. Higher densities of dwellings are permitted under other zoning districts; see article 4: commercial and mixed-use districts and article 15: planned unit developments.
