(a)

Purpose. The purpose of the Single-Family and Duplex Residence (R-2) District is to allow for medium density, single-family and single-family attached residential uses. This District allows a variety of housing types where adequate public facilities and services exist with capacity to serve development. The R-2 District is to provide a buffer between low density and higher density multi-family development. Mini-mum lot size requirements are provided in order to allow for market and design flexibility while preserving neighborhood character.

Dimensional standards. The Residential Dimensional Standards within the R-2 District are outlined in Table 16-2 of this Article.
