(A)   Dwelling units and lodging rooms are not permitted, except those in a hotel, motel, lodging house or group home, which may be permitted as special uses.

   (B)   All business, service, storage, merchandise, display and, where permitted, repair and processing shall be conducted wholly within an enclosed building, except for off-street automobile parking, off-street loading and open sales lots.

   (C)   Unless otherwise specifically permitted in this Chapter, goods sold shall consist primarily of new merchandise and any goods produced on the premises shall be sold at retail, primarily on the premises.

   (D)   All nonresidential uses shall meet the performance standard requirements of the M-1 Limited Manufacturing District, as set forth in Section 10-8-10 of Chapter 8 of this Title.

   (E)   Within three hundred feet (300') of a residence district boundary line all uses, except drive-in types of business establishments, and off-street parking for vehicles in operable condition shall be within completely enclosed buildings. Outdoor storage is permitted in rear yards only and then if completely screened by a solid wall or uniformly painted solid fence at least eight feet (8') in height, and open storage shall not be of a greater height than that of the enclosing fence. The following general business uses shall be permitted in the B-2 General Business District:

Uses permitted in the B-1 Retail and Service Business District.

Amusement establishments, bowling alleys, pool halls, dance halls, gymnasiums, swimming pools and skating rinks.

Auction rooms.

Auditoriums.

Automobile service stations.

Caskets and casket supplies.

Employment agencies.

Feed stores.

Fire stations.

Frozen food lockers.

Greenhouses.

Libraries.

Monument sales.

Motor vehicle and motor vehicle equipment sales.

Police stations.

Schools, art, dancing, vocation, professional and business.

Taxidermists.

Telephone exchanges and telephone transmission equipment buildings, excluding microwave relay towers.

Theaters, not including drive-in theaters.

Any establishment engaged in production, processing, assembly, disassembly, cleaning, servicing, testing, repair or storage of material goods or products.

The following uses may be allowed by special use permit in accordance with the provisions of Section 18 of this Title:

Special uses allowed in the B-1 Retail and Service Business District, except such as are permitted uses in the B-2 General Business District.

Building material sales with outside storage.

Cartage and express facilities providing for storage of goods, motor trucks and other equipment in an enclosed structure.

Contractors and construction offices with outside storage.

Dog kennels.

Exterminating shops.

Garages, public, servicing automotive vehicles of three (3) ton weight and under, including body repair and painting.

Garages, public, servicing automotive vehicles in excess of three (3) tons and including engine repairs thereof.

Hotels, motels, lodging houses and group homes.

Municipal service buildings.

Planned unit developments.

Radio stations with transmission towers.

Satellite dishes no more than three feet (3') in diameter, but only when used as an accessory use.

Second hand stores and rummage shops.
