For the purpose and intent of this chapter, the City hereby establishes the following zoning district classifications:

   “R-1” Single-Family Residential District

   “R-2” One- and Two-Family Residential District

   “R-3” Multifamily Residential District

   “C-1” General Commercial District

   “C-2” Central Business District

   “M-1” Light Industrial District

   “M-2” Heavy Industrial District
