C-2 GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT—OFFICE AND LIGHT RETAIL

Sec. 157.240 - General purpose and description.

The General Commercial Office and Light Retail District is intended to provide a zoning category similar to the C-1 District; except that, additional uses are permitted which meet the needs of the entire community and an expanded range of service and repair uses is permitted.

Sec. 157.241 - Permitted uses.

A building or premise shall be used only for the following purposes: uses as listed in section 157.330.

Sec. 157.242 - Permitted specific uses.

The following specific uses shall be permitted in a C-2 District, when granted in accordance with sections 157.365 and 157.366: other uses as listed in section 157.330.

Sec. 157.244 - Parking requirements.

Off-street parking requirements shall be provided in accordance with the city's parking ordinance.

Sec. 157.245 - Appearance.

As set forth in city ordinance.

Sec. 157.246 - Additional restrictions for travel center convenience stores located in C-2 general commercial districts.

(a)

No overnight parking allowed. No truck or motor vehicles shall be allowed to park overnight at the store premises.

(b)

Noise prohibition. Normal business activities conducted on the premises shall not create a sound pressure level on the bounding property line that exceeds 65 decibels from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. or 55 decibels from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

(c)

Truck entrances. Entrances and exits for trucks shall be no closer than 125 feet to an adjoining lot located in a residential district, as measured along the common street line.
