5-6-1: GENERAL:
The Village’s College University District is listed below. When this Zoning Ordinance refers to College University District or “C/U” district, it is referring to this district.

5-6-2: PURPOSE:
C/U College University District is intended to promote higher education within its boundaries. The college university district is intended to establish the area in which a college or university may continue to operate in harmony with the surrounding residential and business areas. It is also understood that segregation of such facilities in a separate district is appropriate given the unique characteristics of college and university areas, the variety of uses needed to serve the college and university community, and the intensity of land uses in such a community. 5-6-3: LOT AND BUILDING STANDARDS:
The following table establishes the lot and building standards for the College University District. Building standards apply to both principal and accessory buildings. Please refer to Chapter 20 of this Zoning Ordinance for rules of measurements.
