CHAPTER 19

17.- SR SUBURBAN RESIDENTIAL DWELLING DISTRICT REGULATIONS

Sec. 19.17.010.- Statement of intent.

(a)

The SR District is intended and designed to provide for low density residential areas where rural suburban residential development seems likely to occur.

Sec. 19.17.020. - Principal permitted uses.

(a)

Any use permitted in the R-1 District.

Sec. 19.17.030. - Permitted accessory uses.

(a)

Accessory uses permitted in and as limited in the R-1 District.

Sec. 19.17.040. - Bulk regulations.

(a)

The following minimum requirements shall be observed subject to the modifications contained in Section 19.02.100.

(1)

Lot area: 20,000 square feet.

(2)

Lot width: 100 feet.

(3)

Front yard: 40 feet.

(4)

Side yard: 30 feet total, with minimum of 10 feet on one side; churches and schools with 40 feet on each side.

(5)

Rear yard: 50 feet.

(6)

Maximum height:

Principal building - 35 feet.

Accessory building - 12 feet.

(7)

Maximum number of stories:

Principal building - 3 stories.

Accessory building - 1 story.

Sec. 19.17.050. - Minimum width regulations.

(a)

The minimum dimension of the main body of the principal building shall not be less than twenty-four (24) feet.

Sec. 19.17.060. - Perimeter foundation requirement.

(a)

A permanent perimeter foundation, meeting the Mount Pleasant Building Code standards, shall be required for all principal buildings.

Sec. 19.17.070. - Off-street parking and loading.

(a)

Spaces for off-street parking and loading shall be observed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 19.06.

Sec. 19.17.080. - Signs.

(a)

Signs shall be provided in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 19.09.
