No structure or lot shall hereafter be used or occupied and no structure or part thereof shall be erected, moved, reconstructed, extended, enlarged, or altered except in compliance with the provisions of this title and Chapter 18.06 TMC, Critical Areas; Chapter 15.16 TMC, Floodplain Management; and Chapter 19.05 TMC, Administrative Procedures. No lot area, yard, or other open space existing on or after the effective date of the ordinance codified in this title shall be reduced in area, dimension, or size below the minimum required by this title, nor shall any lot area, yard or other open space which is required by this title for one use, be used as the lot area, yard, or other open space requirement for any other use.
