All applications for building permits shall be accompanied by a plat in duplicate drawn to scale and in such form as may be prescribed by the zoning enforcement officer showing the actual dimensions of the lot to be built upon, the size of the building to be erected and such other information as may be necessary to provide for the enforcement of the regulations contained in this chapter. The zoning enforcement officer shall keep all such applications and plats on file in his office.
