For any and every violation of the provisions of this chapter, the owner, general agent, or contractor of a building or premises where such violation has been committed or shall exist, or the lessee or tenant of an entire building or entire premises where such violation has been committed or shall exist, or the general agent, architect, building, contractor or any person who commits, takes part in or assists in such violation, or who maintains any buildings, or premises in which such violation shall exist, shall for each and every violation and for each and every day or part thereof that such violation continues, be subject to a fine of not less than $25.00 nor more than $200.00.
