ARTICLE VIII

AGRICULTURAL DISTRICTS

Sec. 9-68.- Purpose.

The agricultural district ("AG district") is intended to provide an environment suitable for and limited to buildings and activities related to agriculture.

Sec. 9-69. - Permitted and special uses in the AG district.

Uses are allowed in the AG district in accordance with section 9-13 and Table II-1 of this zoning ordinance.

Sec. 9-70. - Standards for the AG district.

Minimum lot area. The minimum lot area in the AG district shall be forty (40) acres.

(2)

Maximum dwelling units per lot. The minimum number of dwelling units per lot shall be one, except as allowed in paragraph (3) of this section.

(3)

Temporary worker dwelling units. Dwelling units that are accessory to the farming uses and occupied on a seasonal basis only, shall also be permitted, provided that the occupants of the dwelling units are engaged, on the premises, in agricultural activities as their principal means of livelihood.

Minimum lot width. The minimum lot width in the AG district shall be four hundred (400) feet.
