165.19 I-2

GENERAL INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT.

   1.   Permitted Principal Uses.
      A.   Any use or structure permitted and as regulated in Section 165.18, except as hereinafter modified.
      B.   Manufacturing, processing, repair, or storage uses when located not less than 200 feet from any R District.
      C.   Auto salvage and wrecking operations, industrial metal and waste salvage operations, and junk yards if located not less than 200 feet from any R District, 100 feet from any B District, and 660 feet from any State or federal highway, provided all operations are conducted within an area enclosed on all sides with a solid wall or tight board fence not less than eight feet in height, and which fence or wall shall be maintained to the satisfaction of the Zoning Administrator, such salvage and storage operations are not visible from any public road, and no pile of salvage, scrap, or other material shall be higher than eight feet. All such operations shall comply with regulations set forth by other governmental bodies.
   2.   Permitted Accessory Uses.
      A.   I-1 Industrial District accessory uses.
      B.   Other necessary uses customarily incidental to a permitted principal use, including signs as regulated by Section 165.21.
   3.   Prohibited Uses.
      A.   Uses prohibited in Section 165.18.
      B.   Extraction operations.
      C.   Landfills.
   4.   Yard Requirements. The following minimum requirements shall be observed, subject to the additional requirements, exceptions and modifications in Section 165.24.

*   As lots may be unserved by public sanitary sewer and/or a water supply, larger lots may be required. Lot size for such lots will be determined by the Board of Adjustment as set forth under Section 165.26.
