XVII FEES AND CHARGES

405.770: FEES AND CHARGES

  1. At the time when the subdivider submits to the City the proposed final plat of a subdivision of land, in accordance with the provisions of Section 420.080 of the Municipal Code of the City of Waynesville, the subdivider shall pay to the City the sum of fifty dollars ($50.00), as partial compensation for the expenses incurred by the City in causing the plat to be filed in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Pulaski County, Missouri.
  2. No ordinance approving a final plat of subdivision of land shall be submitted to the City Council for its consideration unless the fee specified in Subsection (A) hereof has been paid.
  3. At the time of submission of any proposed change of zoning district boundaries or zoning classification, the applicant shall pay the sum of thirty-five dollars ($35.00) to the City. An application for change of zoning district boundary or zoning classification shall not be considered until the fee specified in the preceding sentence is paid.
  4. In addition to the fee specified in Subsection (C) hereof, the person(s) submitting an application for change of zoning district boundaries or zoning classification shall pay the actual cost of publication of notice of the public hearing on such application. The City Clerk is directed to notify the person(s) submitting such application of the amount of this publication cost as soon as feasible, but the failure of any applicant to receive this notice shall not excuse failure to pay the cost of publication. If the amount of the cost of publication is not received by the City Clerk by the date of the public hearing on the application then the application will be considered abandoned and the Planning and Zoning Commission shall not conduct the scheduled public hearing. No subsequent request for change of zoning district boundaries or zoning classification from the person(s) submitting the abandoned application shall be considered until the amount of the cost of publication relating to the abandoned application is paid in full.
  5. The provisions of Subsections (C) and (D) hereof shall not apply to a proposal for change of zoning district boundaries or zoning classification which is instituted by the City or by any of its officials or by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
  6. Any person submitting an application for a conditional use permit, as provided in Section 405.670 of the Municipal Code of the City of Waynesville, shall pay to the City the actual cost of publication of notice of the public hearing on this application. The City Clerk is directed to notify the person(s) submitting such application of the amount of this publication cost as soon as feasible, but the failure of any applicant to receive this notice shall not excuse failure to pay the cost of publication. If the amount of the cost of publication is not received by the City Clerk by the date of the public hearing on the application for conditional use permit then the application shall be considered abandoned and no public hearing thereon shall be conducted. No subsequent request for conditional use permit from the person(s) submitting the abandoned application shall be considered until the amount of the cost of publication relating to the abandoned application is paid in full.
