Sec. 150-10

B-3 central business district.

The following regulations shall apply to the B-3 central business district: Central business district is the area located between Pike Boulevard and Sixth Street and between the alley east of Kansas Avenue and the alley west of Missouri Avenue.

(1)

Use regulations. A building or premises shall be used only for the following purposes:

a.

Any uses permitted in the B-2 district.

b.

Storage in bulk, or warehouses for such material as household goods, clothing, drugs, glass, dry goods, furniture, hardware, groceries, and shop supplies.

c.

Wholesale sales room.

(2)

Height regulations. No building hereafter erected or structurally altered within the B-3 district shall exceed six stories or 75 feet.

(3)

Yard regulations.

a.

Front yard. For uses permitted in the B-3 district, no front yard is required.

b.

Side yards. For uses permitted in the B-3 district, there are no side yard requirements.

c.

Rear yard. For uses permitted in the B-3 district, there are no rear yard regulations.

(4)

Intensity of use. There are no minimum lot area or lot width requirements.

(5)

Parking regulations. Off-street parking shall be provided consistent with the requirements of Chapter 134, Article VI.

(6)

Additional use, height, and area regulations. Additional use, height, and area regulations and exceptions shall be as provided in section 150-12.
