(1)

Penalties. Any person who violates, neglects, or refuses to comply with or resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this section shall be subject to a forfeiture of not less than $100.00 or more than $1,000.00 plus costs of prosecution for each violation. An unlawful violation includes failure to comply with any standard of this section or with any condition or qualification attached to the permit. Each day that a violation exists shall be a separate offense.

Enforcement by Injuction. As a substitute for or in addition to forfeiture actions, Portage County may seek enforcement of any part of this section by court actions seeking injunctions or restraining orders.
