CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS
The town council, following review and recommendation by the planning commission may issue a conditional use permit for any of those uses set out as conditional uses under article III of this chapter, provided that the use meets the requirements of this chapter and each of the following additional standards:
(1)
The use will not adversely affect the health or safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed use;
(2)
The use will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to property or improvements in the neighborhood;
(3)
The use will be in harmony with the goals, policies and future land use map in the comprehensive plan;
(4)
If the use is located in the WPD district, it will apply a style of development which will result in the least degradation to the water quality in Lake Pelham.
In granting any conditional use permit, the town council shall designate such conditions as it determines necessary to carry out the intent of this chapter.
