Owners and operators shall meet with the Commission prior to meeting with the Board to ensure that the proposed special exception adult use is in compliance with all requirements specified in this chapter.

Owners and operators shall meet with the Joint Council prior to meeting with the Board to present the proposed business model, to facilitate and respond to community questions and concerns, and to confirm their familiarity with and their intent and willingness to comply with all applicable laws, ordinances and requirements which are specified elsewhere.

All adult uses shall obtain an operating permit (a business license) from the Town's Code Enforcement Officer and shall be subject to periodic inspections to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances and requirements.

No adult use shall be operated within 500 feet of a church, school, library, park, recreation facility, and/or an existing business that caters to families with children.

Signage shall not be excessively explicit or expressive (see Article XXIV for additional requirements).
