Before any action shall be taken as provided in this article, the party or parties proposing or recommending a change in the zoning ordinance, either text change or map change or requesting a special use permit shall deposit with the director the sum of $100.00 for each text change not involving acreage, or $100.00 plus $15.00 for each acre of land or portion thereof for which a change in classification or a special use permit is proposed or recommended, to cover the approximate cost of this procedure. However, the maximum fee shall not exceed $300.00, irrespective of the size of the area involved and, under no condition, shall such sum or part thereof be refunded for failure of such changes to be adopted by the zoning commission or board of aldermen.

Upon adoption of a zoning request or special use permit by the board of aldermen, an additional recording fee of $45.00, plus $10.00 per page shall be paid to the building office. This fee must be paid within five days of adoption of said request or special use permit. No request will be recorded in the parish clerk's office until this fee is paid.

Before any action shall be taken as provided in this article, the party or parties requesting a variance, shall deposit with the director the sum of $50.00, to cover the approximate cost of this procedure. Under no conditions, shall the sum or part thereof be refunded for failure to grant the variance.

The fee to review a planned unit development is $150.00. If public hearings are required, an additional fee for $100.00 plus $15.00 for each acre of land will be required.
