36 - R-2 LIMITED MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT
The following are permissive uses on lot or parcel in an R-2 limited multiple residence district having an area of not less than five thousand square feet with a minimum average width of fifty feet:
A.
All uses permitted in the R-1 district;
B.
Multiple-family dwelling, provided not more than one unit be erected for each two thousand square feet of lot area and not more than four units be combined in a single structure;
C.
Boarding and roominghouses, homes for children and aqed;
D.
Churches, Sunday schools and similar uses;
E.
Accessory uses customary and incident thereto, providing they be not closer than ten feet to any main building on the same or adjoining lot;
F.
Office of a resident professional person in a dwelling unit wherein such person resides, providing advertising be limited to one unlighted sign not greater than two square feet in area and no exterior alterations be made to the structure.

Except as provided otherwise, yards in R-2 limited multiple residence districts shall be as follows:
A.
Front. Each lot or parcel shall have a front yard of depth equal to the building setback line but in no event to be less than fifteen feet.
B.
Rear. There shall be a rear yard of not less than ten feet.
C.
Side. There shall be a side yard along each side of the main building to be not less than five feet.

There shall be the following off-street parking in an R-2 district:
A.
Two off-street parking spaces for each dwelling unit;
B.
Four units or more, two off-street parking spaces for each unit;
C.
Churches, one space for every four seats;
D.
Public and semipublic uses, one space for each two hundred fifty square feet of gross floor area.

Marijuana establishments and medical marijuana dispensaries are prohibited in the R-2 Limited Multiple Residence District.
