CHAPTER 21

56 - M-1 INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT

21.56.010 - Permitted uses—Required area and width.

A.

The following uses are permitted on a lot or parcel in an M-1 industrial district of not less than five thousand square feet with a minimum average width of fifty feet:

1.

All uses requiring C-1 and C-2 zoning;

2.

Minor alterations or minor remodeling of an existing use;

3.

Other uses as approved by the city council of the city;

B.

Changes in use or a major expansion of an existing use of a facility requiring M-1 zoning shall be approved by the city council prior to the change or expansion.

21.56.030 - Yard requirements.

Yards in M-1 industrial districts shall be as follows:

A.

Front. Each lot or parcel shall have a front yard having a depth equal to the building line setback as set forth in Chapter 21.24.

B.

Side. None, unless otherwise specified.

C.

Rear. If the lot or parcel is not bounded along the rear lot line by an alley, a rear yard of not less than ten feet shall be required.

21.56.040 - Off-street parking requirements.

There shall be the following off-street parking in an M-1 district.

A.

One off-street parking space shall be provided for each service or delivery vehicle.

B.

Adequate off-street parking shall be provided for all employees.

21.56.050 - Prohibited uses.

Marijuana establishments are prohibited in the M-1 Industrial District.
