The purpose of this District is to provide for major public and quasi-public uses not included in other districts and largely under local and/or government ownership. This District is to further provide for and to reserve land for major open lands, institutional uses, and recreational and public service activities for the existing as well as future benefit of the citizens of Three Forks. Accessory buildings.

Airports and customary accessory uses required for operation of airports.

Cemeteries.

Museums, zoos, historic and culture exhibits.

Public and nonprofit quasi-public institutions, i.e., universities, elementary, junior and senior high schools and hospitals.

Publicly owned land used for parks, playgrounds, and open space.

Temporary buildings for and during construction, only.

Other public buildings, i.e., fire and police stations and Municipal buildings and utilities sites. (Ord. 203, 12-9-1983)

The entire lot, exclusive of required yards and parking, may be occupied by the principal and accessory buildings. (Ord. 203, 12-9-1983)

No requirement except when a lot is adjacent to another district. The yards then shall be the same as the adjacent district. (Ord. 203, 12-9-1983)

Off-street parking for this District shall be provided in accordance with Chapter 13 of this Title. (Ord. 203, 12-9-1983)
