   A.   In any R district there shall be at least one parking space for every dwelling unit; such space or spaces shall be on the same lot with the structure which they are intended to serve.

   B.   In any C or M district, when used for dwelling purposes there shall be one parking space available for each dwelling unit on the same or contiguous lots. (Ord. 536, 2023: Ord. 203 §20, 1987)

   A.   On the same or adjoining premises with any building or structure, there shall be provided off street parking in accordance with the following schedules:

      1.   For Churches, Theaters, Auditoriums, And Similar Places Of Assembly: At least one parking space for every five (5) permanent seats. In cases where temporary or movable seats are provided for, there shall be one parking space for every forty (40) square feet of area within the auditorium or meeting hall.

      2.   For Hospitals And Institutions: There shall be at least one parking space for every two (2) beds provided in the building, or one parking space for every one thousand (1,000) square feet of total floor space included within the building, whichever provides the greater number of spaces.

      3.   For Hotels And Clubs: There shall be at least one parking space for every two (2) guestrooms for the first forty (40) guestrooms, and one space for every four (4) guestrooms over the initial forty (40).

      4.   Auto Courts And Motels: There shall be one parking space for every individual sleeping room or living unit.

      5.   For Commercial Districts, Except As Otherwise Provided In This Section:

         a.   Office Buildings: One space for each five hundred (500) square feet of gross floor area;

         b.   Medical/Dental Clinics: Three (3) spaces for each doctor's office, plus one space for each two (2) employees;

         c.   Retail Or Service Establishments, But Not Including Food Markets: Two (2) spaces for each five hundred (500) square feet of floor area;

         d.   Food Stores Or Markets: One parking space for each two hundred (200) square feet of floor area. (Ord. 536, 2023: Ord. 203 §20(part), 1987)

There shall be one off street parking space, located within three hundred feet (300') of the property served for each two (2) permanent employees. In addition, there shall be at least one parking space for each truck operated by the concern and one parking space for each salesperson permanently employed.
