Fence permit.
(1)
No fence may be erected unless a fence permit has been obtained from the Zoning Administrator in accordance with the Village Code.
(2)
Upon receipt of a fence permit, the applicant must immediately post a notice on the subject property that a fence permit has been issued by the Village. The notice will be provided to the applicant by the Zoning Administrator, and shall be posted by the applicant in a prominent place on the subject property so that it is clearly visible from the public way. The notice must remain posted for such period of time as an appeal may be filed.
(3)
Every fence permit must be accompanied by the following statement: "ISSUANCE OF THIS PERMIT IS SUBJECT TO APPEAL BY ANY AGGRIEVED PARTY TO THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS FOR A PERIOD OF 30 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF ISSUANCE. ANY WORK PERFORMED PURSUANT TO THIS PERMIT DURING THIS 30 DAYS IS ENTIRELY AT THE RISK OF THE APPLICANT.
