A.

This area is designated to provide for forest, open space, and sparse, very low-density residential developments on the periphery of the parish with less developed infrastructure. The role of this district is to preserve natural areas, water resources, wildlife habitat, and open spaces while preventing the encroachment of premature and incompatible land uses.

B.

A minimum amount of fill, as approved by the planning director and E.R.A. shall be permitted in this zoning designation.

C.

Parcels less than five acres in size at the date this ordinance is adopted by the Parish Council shall be treated as a valid non-conforming parcel.
