Alcohol beverage business standards.
A.
Purpose. Commercial businesses serving alcohol pose potential public safety problems. In issuing a development permit for these businesses, the Zoning Commission may provide such terms and conditions in order to assure that development is compatible with existing or planned development on neighboring property.
B.
Conditions on Alcoholic Beverage Sales. The terms and conditions may include, but are not limited to, the following:
1.
Frequency, duration or hours of operation;
2.
Additional screening, setbacks, parking, landscaping, or site improvements;
3.
Method or type of service, such as drive-through, with meals only, or package sales only; and
4.
Designated areas within a building or site where alcoholic beverages may be sold.
