It is the intent of this ordinance [and resolution] that certain designated agricultural areas be preserved for present and anticipated agricultural and open space uses.

The A-1 zone is established to preserve certain land areas for agricultural use; to discourage non-agricultural development so as to provide areas of open space; and to provide building sites for future urban development.

The following uses are permitted in the A-1 district:

(51.1)

Any type of agricultural pursuits including the raising of livestock.

(51.2)

Any facilities provided as a public service.

(51.3)

Any commercial recreational enterprise.

(51.4)

Mobile home parks, providing they meet the requirements as outlined in section 124.
