The city does herewith include and adopt the 2018 design standards to coordinate themes for site design, architecture, parking lot design, pedestrian/bicycle access, environment, utilities and signage for all properties in the city within commercial zoning districts. The design standards shall be enforced for all new construction and/or reconstruction and remodeling, as specified under the scope and application section of the design standards.

The specific design standards shall be set forth within a manual available for distribution at the office of the zoning administrator for the city, which manual and provisions therefore may be amended by ordinance of the city council from time to time.

In the application of this Appendix E, should the provisions as contained within the Design Standards be in conflict with other provisions set forth within the text of this Appendix E, the design standards shall apply.
