65 RESIDENTIAL/BUSINESS DISTRICT R/B

§ 16.65.010 Intent.

The purpose of the residential/business district is to create a zone with residential and certain business uses which allows a mix of residential and business uses together which are mutually supportive of each other and where impacts of the business uses on the residential uses are mitigated by limiting the intensity of development.

§ 16.65.020 Uses by right and conditional uses.

§ 16.65.030 Accessory uses.

(a) 
Garages and carports.
(b) 
Vehicle parking and loading space as required in GMC § 16.125.090. Parking, loading and driveway areas need not be paved for existing single-family structures.
(c) 
Private greenhouses, tool sheds, playhouses, doghouses, swimming pools, patios or recreation facilities customarily incidental to single- and two-family residential uses.
(d) 
Business uses and home occupations of moderate to high impact: service commercial businesses requiring equipment storage, repair, special buildings to house said equipment and home occupation offices connected with such businesses:
(1) 
Logging businesses; log storage not to exceed 15 percent of site area; any log stacks not to exceed 10 feet high.
(2) 
General contractors.
(3) 
Carpenters, plumbers, electricians.
(4) 
Other businesses related to the list above as determined appropriate by the board.
(e) 
Signs. As regulated in GMC Title 14, the Granby sign code.
