The location of the zoning districts established are shown on the map entitled "Official Zoning Map of the Town of Granby." The official map is filed at the office of the town clerk, and shall be kept current at all times. All amendments to the map made in conformity with this chapter shall be recorded promptly after adoption, showing general location, effective date, and nature of any changes. Each map amendment shall be supplemented by a file, and shall contain a legal description of the area changed, a description of the nature of the change and all pertinent documents such as application submittal materials, legal notices and meeting minutes, and record of proceedings.
No changes shall be made to the official zoning map, except in the manner herein set forth. Any unauthorized change to the official zoning map by any person or persons shall be deemed a violation of this chapter.
Regardless of the existence of purported copies of the official zoning map which may from time to time be made or published, the official zoning map which shall be located in the office of the clerk shall be the final authority as to the current zoning status of land and water areas, buildings, and other structures in the town, except in cases where inadvertent mistakes are found.
The official zoning map shall be identified by the signature of the mayor and attested by the town clerk under the following words: "This is to certify that this is the Official Zoning Map referred to in GMC §
16.30.010 of the town of Granby, Colorado," together with the date of the adoption of the ordinance codified in this title.
