The provisions of this ordinance shall be administered and enforced by the building inspector of the City of Mercedes, Texas. All applications for building permits shall be accompanied by a plat drawn in duplicate, showing the actual dimensions of the lot to be built on, the size of the buildings to be erected, the use of the property, and such other information that may be necessary and requested by the building inspector of the City of Mercedes, Texas, to permit enforcement of these regulations. The record of the application plat and other information shall be carefully preserved in the office of the building inspector.
