Any apparatus or structure including any alteration to an existing apparatus or structure designed to collect, transfer or utilize solar energy, including but not limited to panels designed to collect and transfer solar energy into heated water, air or electricity and windows or window walls which admit solar rays to obtain direct heat or to obtain heat for storage.
