For the purposes of ensuring that all structures within the City conform to certain minimum architectural and aesthetic standards of appearance and all structures conform with surrounding structures; preventing the erection of structures detrimental to the stability of values of surrounding properties; insuring the conformity to the design principles of the Comprehensive Plan; and, promoting the health, safety, and general welfare of the residents of the City, there is hereby established an Architectural Review Board (“ARB”).
