Parking spaces configured in such a manner as to not meet the requirements contained in Appendix IV. Parking Design Standards, to include spaces that do not meet parking space maneuvering requirements (sometimes referred to as "stacked parking"), shall not count towards the number of required parking spaces as prescribed in Article 20. Off-Street Parking and Service Requirements. Exception: Individual single-family residential lots are exempt from the parking space maneuvering/drive aisle distance requirements contained in Appendix IV.

The above example depicts a parking configuration that does not meet parking space maneuvering requirements ("stacked parking") and which would not count towards the number of required parking spaces.
