The C-REC Commercial Recreation District is designed to accommodate general public recreation activities, both indoor and outdoor.

   Permitted uses in a C-REC Commercial Recreation District are:

   (a)   Golf courses, tennis courts, putting greens and clubhouses.

   (b)   Golf driving ranges.

   (c)   Swimming pools.

   (d)   Other similar facilities.

   Uses specifically excluded are amusement parks and race tracks.

   Uses requiring special exception use permits in a C-REC District are:

   (a)   Refreshment stands.

   (b)   Restaurants.

   Area requirements in a C-REC District are as follows:

   (a)   Minimum Lot Area. Ten acres.

   (b)   Minimum Lot Width. 500 feet.

   (c)   Minimum Lot Depth. 500 feet.

   (d)   Maximum Lot Coverage by Structures. Ten percent of the total lot area.

   (e)   Minimum Yards.

      (1)   Front yard. Fifty feet. Where a front yard is used for parking, the minimum shall be 100 feet.

      (2)   Side yards. Thirty feet.

      (3)   Rear yard. Thirty feet.

   The maximum building height in a C-REC District is one story, but not to exceed twenty feet.

   Off-street parking requirements shall be established by the Planning Commission and the City Park and Recreation Board to insure adequate provision of off-street parking spaces for the specified uses proposed.
