No use or structure shall be established on a lot of record that does not conform to the standards established in this ordinance, except in accordance with this subsection.

(a)

This subsection shall not be construed to prohibit the development of any non-conforming lot of record prior to the effective date of this ordinance provided the development conforms to all other requirements of the ordinance.

(b)

Governmental acquisition of a portion of a lot for a public purpose that results in a reduction in lot width and/or lot area below that required by this ordinance shall not render the lot nonconforming. (Ord. No. 12-16, Jan. 2013)
