ENFORCEMENT, VIOLATIONS, AND PENALTIES
This Zoning Code shall be enforced by the Town Building Official, the Police Department, or the Town Commission of the Town of Palm Beach Shores, Florida. The Building Official is hereby authorized to cause any building, structure, place, or premises to be inspected or examined and to order in writing upon reasonable notice the remedying of any offenses under this Zoning Code; such order shall be served by actual delivery to the owner or agent or by mailing a copy thereof to the owner by certified mail, as taken from the Town's tax rolls, and in each instance by posting a copy thereof on the building so affected, and on the official Town bulletin board. The owner or agent of a building or premises, where a violation of this Zoning Code has been committed or shall exist, or the general agent, architect, contractor, building agent, builder, or any person who commits, takes part in or assists in any such violation or who maintains any building or premises or any part thereof in which any violation shall exist, shall each be guilty of an offense and shall be punished as hereinafter provided. In the event of any such violation where the person responsible shall fail to comply with such order within ten (10) days after such service is completed, or shall continue to violate any provision of this Zoning Code, he shall be deemed guilty of an offense and shall be punished as hereinafter provided or in any other manner allowed by law.
Any tenant or lessee who shall knowingly violate or be a party to the violation of any provision of this Zoning Code after being notified to cease and desist, shall be guilty of an offense and shall be punished as hereinafter provided or in any manner allowed by law.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this zoning code shall be fined up to $250.00 per day for the first violation and up to $500.00 per day for a repeat violation. A repeat violation is a violation of the same provision of this zoning code for which the violator has been cited previously within five years.

Nothing herein contained shall prevent the Town from taking such other lawful action, including, but not limited to, equitable action, as may be necessary to prevent, abate, or remedy any violation of this Zoning Code.
