DISTRICTS AND BOUNDARIES THEREOF; OFFICIAL MAP
In order to accomplish the purposes and intent of this Zoning Code, as set out in Section I herein, the Town of Palm Beach Shores, Florida, is hereby divided into six (6) zoning districts or categories and one conditional exception, to be denominated as follows:
DISTRICT A
DISTRICT B
DISTRICT C
DISTRICT D
DISTRICT P
DISTRICT ROS
The boundaries of these districts are set out and delineated on the Official Zoning Map, which is incorporated by reference and made a part of this Zoning Code. The Official Zoning Map bears the legend "Adopted as a part of Ordinance No. 124 of the Town of Palm Beach Shores, Florida," together with the date, the signatures of the members of the Town Commission adopting this Zoning Code, the signature of the mayor, the signature of the Town Clerk attesting authenticity, and the corporate seal of the Town.
The Official Zoning Map, and all the notations, references, and other information shown thereon, except as specifically noted, are a part of this ordinance as if such information set forth on the Official Zoning Map were all fully described and set out herein. The Official Zoning Map, properly attested, shall remain at all times on file in the Office of the Town Clerk, and shall not be removed therefrom except under order of a court. Regardless of the existence of purported copies of the Official Zoning Map which may from time to time be made or published, the Official Zoning Map located in the Office of the Town Clerk shall be the final authority as to the current zoning status of all land in the Town.

In the drawing and delineation of the zoning districts, the Town Commission has given due and careful consideration to the peculiar suitability of each and every district for the particular regulations applicable thereto, and the necessary, proper, and comprehensive groupings and arrangements of the various uses and densities of population in accordance with a well considered plan for the development of the Town.
The boundaries of the districts are as shown upon the Official Zoning Map adopted by this Zoning Code or any subsequent amendment thereto, are hereby adopted and approved, and the regulations of this Zoning Code governing the use of land and buildings, the height of buildings, building site areas, the size of yards about buildings and other matters as hereinafter set forth, except as specifically noted, are hereby established and declared to be in effect upon all land included within the boundaries of each and every district shown upon said Map.
