34 INDUSTRIAL ZONE - HEAVY

The purpose of the heavy industrial zoning district is to encourage the development of and grouping together of heavy industrial uses including mass manufacturing, construction yards, industrial production, industrial storage, airports, and all uses allowed in the Light Industrial Zone.
All proposed businesses will be evaluated on whether they fit into one of the above-listed categories. If the business is determined to fit into one of the categories, it will be allowed if all other provisions of this code are met. If the business is determined not to fit into one of the above-listed categories but is not explicitly forbidden, the business owner may apply for a Special Use Permit.
