A. Front setbacks shall be measured from the edge of the right-of-way (R.O.W.) to the building line (excluding steps).
B. Side and rear setbacks shall be measured from the edge of the property line to the building line (excluding steps and chimneys).
C. The side yard abutting a street (corner lots) shall be measured from the edge of the R.O.W. to the building line (excluding steps and chimneys).
D. Eaves and overhangs should extend no more than two (2) feet past the building walls. If eaves and overhangs extend more than two feet past the building walls, the outermost edge of the eave or overhang shall be designated as the building line.

A. Structures 120 square feet and under, which have a maximum height of ten (10) feet tall or less, do not require a building permit but shall conform to all other provisions of this code.
B. Building permits are required for all structures over 120 square feet.
C. Any structure exceeding ten (10) feet in height requires a building permit.

A. A detached garage may be placed in the front yard of a newly constructed triplex, fourplex, or townhome row providing all garages are uniformly constructed and placed.
B. The front setback will be measured from the edge of the ROW to the front-most portion of the foundation of the garage.
C. A space of at least eight (8) feet shall be between the front-most foundation of the dwelling unit and the rearmost foundation of a detached garage.
D. A detached garage counts as one (1) accessory building.
E. No garage shall occupy more than 85% of the front yard of any single dwelling unit.
A. Planting trees in park strips, swales, or on any R.O.W. shall be prohibited.
B. All swales shall be maintained as specified in 16.25.060R of PMC. Filling in swales shall be prohibited.
Unless otherwise specified in this code, all violations shall be punishable by the general punishment found in 17.52.030.
It is the responsibility of the owner of a property to manage and maintain trees, shrubbery, and vegetation on any parcel.
