CHAPTER 17

38 P-L PARK LAND DISTRICT:

§ 17.38.010 Purpose.

The regulations for this district are designed to provide open space as a buffer between general manufacturing industry and adjoining residential districts; riding and hiking trails along the Sacramento River; screen planting along highways; playgrounds and playing fields.

§ 17.38.020 Uses permitted.

Uses permitted are as follows:

Landscaping and buffer or screen;

Riding and hiking trails.

§ 17.38.030 Conditional uses.

Uses permitted, provided the conditions for a use permit as set forth in Section 17.66.070 are fulfilled:

Playgrounds and playing fields with parking areas;

Swimming pools;

Accessory uses and buildings clearly appurtenant to any permitted use;

Public and semi-public buildings, including but not limited to, fire stations, schools, churches, libraries, hospitals, community and civic centers.

§ 17.38.040 Site and architectural approval.

Site and architectural approval is required for all new structures and exterior improvements to existing structures in the P-L district.
