Cottage Food Businesses are permitted as an accessory use in the R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4, O-R, and in the B Zone only if the Planning/Zoning Board has granted a certificate of non-conformity for a pre-existing residential use. Cottage Food Operators (Home Bakers) must obtain a Cottage Food Operator Permit from the New Jersey Department of Health and the Permit must be kept valid. A copy of the valid Permit must be furnished to the Borough to be kept on file. Any updates or modifications to the permit must be provided to the Borough. This accessory use is subject to the Municipal Business License Application and Fee.
