This designation is established to identify lands within the Town that are owned and managed by federal or state agencies.

A.

Applicability of regulations: Lands owned by the United States government, its departments or agencies, and lands owned by the state shall not be subject to regulation by this title, unless provisions of the laws of the United States or the laws of the state require or permit compliance herewith.

B.

Lands sold to private persons: Whenever land owned by the United States or the state, when located within the limits of the Town, is sold or conveyed to private persons, the provisions of this title shall apply to such land. Land thus acquired shall, for purposes of this title, be treated as an annexation and shall be zoned in compliance with section 10-3-4 of this title.
