Permitted uses in the Residential A District are:

Churches.

One-family dwellings.

Parks and playgrounds.

Schools.

Minimum lot or parcel area for each dwelling erected or maintained shall be four thousand eight hundred (4,800) square feet with a minimum lot or parcel width of forty eight feet (48') per dwelling. (Ord. 44, 1977)

The minimum width of any lot shall be forty eight feet (48') and the minimum lot area shall be four thousand eight hundred (4,800) square feet. No lot or parcel shall be divided or segregated in such a way as to result in any lot falling below either the minimum width or the minimum area. (Ord. 117, 5-2-1995: Ord. 44, 1977)

   A.   Minimum setback of dwellings and accessory buildings from front and side streets shall be six feet (6'), from adjoining lot boundaries shall be two feet (2'), and from alleys or back boundaries shall be two feet (2') for all lots measuring six thousand (6,000) square feet and less.

   B.   Minimum setback of dwellings and accessory buildings from front and side streets shall be fifteen feet (15'), from adjoining lot boundaries shall be ten feet (10'), and from alleys or back boundaries shall be five feet (5') for all lots measuring more than six thousand (6,000) square feet. Dwellings may be rented for more than thirty (30) days at one time with a lease or rental agreement, and without a conditional use permit. (Ord. 184, 2-10-2011)
