46 - ADJUSTMENTS, VARIANCES AND APPEALS*14

17.46.010 - Purpose.

The purpose of this title is to delegate powers and duties to the city of Stevenson board of adjustment in order to ensure the proper application of this title.

17.46.020 - Board of adjustment—Powers and duties.

Consistent with Chapter 2.14 of the Stevenson Municipal Code, the board of adjustment shall have the following powers and duties as they relate to this title:

A.

To hear and decide appeals from administrative actions performed under this title;

B.

To hear and decide upon applications for variances from the terms of this title;

C.

To examine and determine the conditions for continuance of lawful nonconforming uses.

17.46.030 - Review standards.

In exercising the powers and duties delegated in this chapter, the board of adjustment shall adhere to the procedures and requirements of Chapter 2.14 of this code.
