15 A-E AGRICULTURE-EXCLUSIVE ZONE
§ 18.15.010 Purpose of zone.
The A-E zone is intended to be applied in fertile areas in which agriculture is and should be the desirable predominant use and in which the protection of this use from encroachment of incompatible uses is essential to the general welfare. The regulations of this chapter shall apply in all A-E zones.

§ 18.15.020 Principal permitted uses.
§ 18.15.030 Uses permitted with a use permit.
The following uses will be permitted in the A-E zones with a use permit:
A.
Hog farms, turkey farms, frog farms and fur farms;
B.
Animal feed yards and sales yards;
C.
Agricultural and timber products processing plants;
D.
Rental and sales of irrigation equipment and storage incidental thereto;
E.
Animal hospitals;
F.
Labor camps and labor supply camps.

§ 18.15.040 Subdivisions and residential developments prohibited.
No subdivision or residential developments, whether by official map, record or survey or recorded subdivision, shall be permitted in A-E zones.

§ 18.15.050 Area, lot width, and yards.
The following shall apply in A-E zones:
A.
Minimum lot area: four acres;
B.
Minimum lot width: one hundred feet;
C.
Maximum ground coverage: thirty-five percent;
D.
Minimum yards: front, thirty feet; rear, twenty feet; side, ten percent of the lot width on each side, but not more than twenty feet shall be required;
E.
Farm outbuildings shall not be less than twenty feet from any dwelling unit on the premises.
