Sec. 17.16

R3 Resort/Rental District.

(1)

Intent. The R3 district is intended to provide a quiet, pleasant and relatively spacious living area and is protected from intrusion of incompatible land uses. This district will allow for weekly renting.

Permitted uses. The following are permitted uses:

(a)

Any use permitted in the R1 district.

(3)

Conditional uses. The following uses may be permitted subject to the provisions of section 17.04:

(a)

Weekly rentals for transient guests, state-licensed.

(b)

Bed and breakfast establishments, state-licensed.

(c)

Duplexes.

(d)

Customary home occupations.

(e)

Municipal buildings.

(f)

Home occupations and professional home offices.

(g)

Public parks.

Building width ..... 20 ft. minimum
Floor area ..... 750 sq. ft. minimum
Garages and accessory buildings (unless attached to the home in a uniformed manner) ..... 16 ft. maximum
Sidewalls ..... 9½ ft. maximum
Front yard setback ..... 15 ft.
Side yard setbacks ..... 8 ft.
Rear yard setback ..... 8 ft.
Lake setback ..... 75 ft.
Water and sewered lot area ..... 10,000 sq. ft.
Private water and sewer lot area ..... 25,000 sq. ft.
Lot width ..... 70 ft.
Off-street parking ..... 1 parking space per every 2 boarders
