Special temporary use permits.
(1)
After review and public hearing, the council may authorize the zoning administrator to issue a special temporary use permit.
(2)
Application for a special temporary use permit shall be submitted to the zoning administrator on forms provided by him along with the required fee. Said application shall be accompanied by a statement of the applicable facts, proposed use and reason for requesting a special temporary use permit.
(3)
A special temporary use permit may be issued for any use of land or building in any zoning district within the city. Said use need not be authorized nor similar to or customarily incidental to any use authorized in said district. The applicant need not establish any hardship to apply for a temporary use permit.
(4)
No special temporary use permit shall authorize a use under this section for a period of time exceeding three years.
(5)
The council may impose any conditions on the issuance of the permit granted hereunder which they deem necessary or advisable to protect the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community.
(6)
The fee for a special temporary use permit is in accordance with the fee schedule kept in the clerk/treasurer's office at city hall per year.
