- Industrial Districts
A.
I-1 Light industrial district. The I-1 Light industrial district is intended to accommodate a variety of light manufacturing, fabricating, processing, distributing, and warehousing uses. Light industrial uses are conducted within enclosed buildings, and do not create appreciable nuisances, hazards, or other outside impacts.
B.
I-2 General industrial district. The I-2 General industrial district accommodates general manufacturing, fabricating, processing, distributing and warehousing uses that may create limited to moderate outside impacts, rendering them incompatible with residential areas and most other business development within the Village. Industrial uses in the I-2 District may result in moderate nuisances or hazards such as smoke, noise, glare or vibration, and typically include outdoor storage and related outdoor activities.
Chapter 9 lists allowed principal, temporary, and accessory uses for the industrial districts.
Table 7-1: Industrial Districts Dimensional Standards establishes the dimensional standards for the industrial districts. These regulations apply to all uses within each district unless a different standard is listed for a specific use.
